- Must be current, published since 2000
- Written for children
- Colorful illustrations
- Clear and specific text
- Not specific to the United States, such as US History or civics
Reference
- Must be current, published since 2000
- Written for children
- Colorful illustrations
- Clear organization of information
- Examples: maps, atlases, children's dictionaries

You can help by collecting gently used or new children’s books for our partner organization through book drives at your business, school, church, or community group.
In the United States, the U.S. post office offers a media mail rate where a 30 lb box (70-100 books) can be shipped for approximately $14 USD.
